After years of manual work, surfing and traveling, Greg settled
in Woolgoolga,
a small town on the mid-north coast of NSW, Australia. He began training
as
a registered nurse in 1980. He has been employed in the same medical
/
palliative ward at Grafton Base Hospital for 23 years. Nearing retirement,
Greg now prefers to be at home with his family, reading, writing, listening
to
music and landscaping. He is a keen surfer on both long and short boards,
and
a volunteer 'blues and roots' DJ at a local FM radio station. He is
married to
Jane, a primary school teacher and gardener. Their daughter, Sophie,
will soon
be seventeen. Sophie hopes to become a writer. As a family, Greg, Jane
and
Sophie enjoy bushwalking. They think of Sean every day.
